- I know that we celebrated Fathers Day this past Sunday but I just want to give a shout out to all our Dads at Living Hope. I consider it a privilege to be counted among your number. I see men that know they are not perfect but are working towards being the men that Christ has called them to be as husbands and fathers. Thank You!
- Caryl and I wanted to say Thank You to everyone that stopped by for Sarah’s High School Graduation. It was good to connect with you. I know it was also a blessing to Sarah. It is hard to believe that our youngest is heading off to Corban University this fall.
- I want to say Thank You to Zac and Carol for their ministery to our Jr and Sr High students. I am excited about what the future holds! I also want to say Thank You to all the parents that participated in the Parents Meeting this past Friday. I know that Zac and Carol were excited about the input and ideas gleaned from the time together. It you were not able to attend be sure to check in with Zac.
- We have moved into the last phase of preparation for Soccer Camp. Our Early Bird registration ended this Monday at midnight. The deadline for our Regular Mail-in Registration $60 cost ends July 11th at midnight. We will accept walk on registrations the day of camp.
- Thanks to everyone that has signed up to provide snacks for the Soccer Camp. There are still a number of open slots. Please check out the list this Sunday or talk with Sharlene if you can help. Financial donations are also welcomed from those that are unable to do the shopping. Please bring your snack to the church on Sunday or drop them by the Ministry Center.
- We have several specific needs: We need those that are willing to provide a Picnic lunch for the team each day of camp and those willing to host the team for dinner. Please sign up or contact Pastor Joe.
- We are needing someone that can transport the camp equipment and help with setup and tear down each day. If you have a truck and are desiring to help, please contact Pastor Joe.
- We are also in need of volunteer coaches. It you know of any Jr/Sr High Soccer players or adults that would be interested in coaching please contact Pastor Joe.
- I hope you have been enjoying our Celebrate Summer series of dramatic monologues from 1 Samuel. We will be having another visitor this Sunday that will help to bring life to the next section of 1 Samuel as we focus on “Realizing Greatness” through the example of others. Prayer does make a difference as we saw from the prophet/judge Samuel’s life. It makes a difference on our Sunday ministries also. Thanks for praying for the service this week.
