Rearview Mirror 5-6-2021

  • Where would we be without our Mothers? The Lord sure blessed us with his design for the family. This Sunday we will be celebrating Mother’s day in both services. Something special has been prepared for the Mothers in attendance. Happy Mothers day!
  • Just a reminder that we make it a point to pray for the Ministry each Wednesday evening at 7PM in the Admin building. Let me encourage you to be a part of this special time mid-week at Living Hope.
  • AWANA is rolling now for those with grade school age children each Sunday 5:30-7:30 PM in the new MC. Please contact Pastor Berney with any questions.
  • I am still needing help to sell many items that are no longer needed. We are looking for someone with experience on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist or _____ to help us. If you are able to help, please contact Pastor Joe.
  • We have two Men’s groups that are meeting. Pastor Berney leads a Thursday Evening group at 7:00 pm at the church studying the Minor Prophets. Pastor Joe’s Thursday Men’s daytime group will not be meeting for the next three weeks.
  • Six-8 Youth Jr high meets on Sunday 5:30-7;30pm at the Church Office. The Sr High is now also meeting on Friday 6:30-8:30pm at the Church Office. Please contact Pastor Zac for more information.
  • Our Monthly Memory Verse for  May 2021 is one that all of us should know and practice. It is a testimony about the Priest and Teacher Ezra. I like the middle phrase “and do it.”  “For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.” Ezra 7:10 ESV  If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android)
  • This week we will be in a favorite passage of mine. The focus will be on Philippians 3:12-16.  Paul’s focus is to keep moving forward in our relationship with the Lord. It is easy to cruise but we must “press on.” Pastor Berney will be covering this next portion of Scripture in our series “Living Above the Noise.” Your prayers are vital to the work of God at Living Hope. We are so appreciative of those of you that are the power behind the preaching and ministry. Thank You.
