Rearview Mirror 3-5-2020

  • In the light of the Corona virus, we will be carrying on ministry as long as it is safe to do so. There are currently no incidents in our area but things could change. We are encouraging our church members to be a part of our private church media site for communication. Please contact Pastor Joe for an invite to the Realm. We would also post a service cancellation on the church website.
  • There is a lot that is happening on the church site. We continue to get closer to wrapping up the site permit and obtaining an occupancy permit for the office modular. We have completed all the site work that can be done except for some fencing and landscaping that is waiting on electricity to be installed. There has been progress with PSE and I am hoping to get word on a timeline in the next week or so. We are continuing to make progress on the office modular. We have almost completed the siding on 3 walls and have started working on trim. Our next big projects will be the ADA Ramp and Roof. We could use some help with cleaning up some of the greenbelt and picking up rocks. If you could help with any of these, please contact Pastor Joe.
  • Gals, just a reminder that the Camp Gilead Ladies Retreat (March 13-14) is just around the corner. Please pick-up information on the welcome table or check out this week’s bulletin for more information.
  • On Sunday we will be focusing on our March memory verse, ““But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4–5 ESV I find myself coming back to this verse regularly as it reminds me of God’s perfect timing, but also of the blessing of adoption! If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
  • This Sunday our study move us into Galatians chapter 4. Our text will challenge us to live up to who we are in Christ. It is easy to  live like those that do not know Christ but the Gospel calls us to more. The title for this week is “Time to Be Different!” I do appreciate your prayers each week as I prepare. Pray that the Lord would speak into my life and then speak through me.
