  • I want to say Thanks to everyone that helped make the after service potluck a success. I want to give a shout out to the Hospitality and Setup teams for their work. It was good to see everyone connecting and hanging around after the meal was finished.
  • Thanks are also in order for the Women’s Ministry team and the ladies that made Emylee Reardon’s baby shower a great event. A big thanks to Sharlene H for hosting and the work she put into the event.
  • Just a reminder that Pastor Zac is planning a special Six8 Star Wars Movie Marathon this Presidents Day Weekend. The event will run from Friday February 16 through Saturday February 17 at Pastor Zac’s. If your Jr or Sr High students are interested, please talk to Pastor Zac.
  • Just a reminder for those one the Property Team, the Trustee and others, that we will be meeting Thursday evening 7pm at the Ministry Center.
  • Our next Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 25th at the Ministry Center. We will be discussing some new developments in our journey to develop our church property. It is exciting to see that Lord working. Please be praying for God’s direction and wisdom in this and other areas and plan to join us for the meeting.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34 ESV Let me encourage those of you with smart phones or tablets to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • I have really been enjoying my time in Ecclesiastes. The Lord has been speaking into my life in a number of ways. What a blessing it is to learn from the wisest man that has ever lived! This week as we move into chapter 5 we will be focusing on “Am I Serious About Worship?” in our “Fulfilled!” sermon series.  I was reminded again this week in my Bible reading that prayer is eternal, it does not expire. I was hit with this truth in reading the account of Zachariah and Elizabeth in Luke chapter 1. It seems to me that God answered their prayer for a child long after they have given up hope and stopped praying. Thanks for praying for God to work in me and through the service this weekend!
