- I am reminded each week of the privilege that is mine to know the Lord. I know that the world around us seems to be falling apart, but the stability of my world has not changed. Yes, there have been circumstances that have changed, but the Lord has not. What a blessing to belong to Him and enjoy all the blessings that belong to those that know Jesus as their Savior!
- It was a quite week on the property. The snow has put a delay on several of the projects. Our church people were able to make progress on out-fitting the Worship building. It was another busy week as we continue to make progress towards that day when we will be meeting together.
- Just a reminder to keep praying for the completion of the concrete flatwork (sidewalks), completion of the cable internet installation and for a church sign design.
- Let continue to pray for a February start for public service. Just remember that this will be something that we are rolling into once we start. We will be starting with a simple single service to figure things out before we actually go public. Of course those who are interested in attending are welcome.
- We have two Men’s groups that are meeting. Pastor Berney leads a Thursday Evening group at 7:00 pm at the church studying the Minor Prophets. Pastor Joe is leading the Thursday Men’s daytime group at 10AM, also at the office. The Thursday group is doing Sermon based discussions for those interested.
- One of the highlights of my week has been the Wednesday even prayer meeting 7 pm at the church. Let me encourage you to join us for prayer for the relaunch of our ministry.
- Six-8 Youth Jr high meets on Sundays 5-7pm at the Church Office. The Sr High is now meeting on Fridays 6:30-8:30pm also at the Church Office. The Tuesday night Youth Hangout 6:30-8:30pm for both groups will continue to be at the Schramek’s. Please contact Pastor Zac for more information.
- Our Memory Verse for February 2021 will again remind us of one of the purposes of the new building- to bring the message of Jesus to others. “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11 ESV If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
- This Sunday I want to follow up on today’s article on Satan’s “flaming arrows.” We will be spending some time looking at the right way to think as we unpack Philippians 4:8. I am looking forward to this Sunday and we do appreciate your prayers as we prepare for out time together. Thank You for Praying.
