  • Whew! It has been a busy week. I am happy that the Soccer Camp postcards are in the mail and the Cleat Camp website has been updated. We are ready for player registrations. I want to say Thank You to Steve F., Gordon G., Tyna H., Elizabeth H., Dena E. and Pastor Berney for their help counting and prepping the mailers on Tuesday. Let me encourage you to get the word out with your contacts!
  • What a blessing to have missionary Peter Hudson with us this past Sunday. I know I was challenged by his report on the ministry in Columbia. I know that we would appreciate your prayers for him and for those young men he has been ministering to in Columbia.
  • Thanks to everyone that has been giving me memory verses. It is awesome. The new memory verse for June will be 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” If this verse happens to sound familiar, it is our church verse. Thanks to Thom for suggesting it. Also let me encourage those of you with smart phones or tablets to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • Thanks to those that have submitted their Family Camp registrations. I am really looking forward to our time together this summer at Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. I still have some sites available. Please let us know so we can reserve a site for you.

I am excited to be starting our Celebrate Summer series this coming Sunday. This summer we are back to studying the New Testament by focusing on the book of Romans. Our new series “Gospel 360” will focus on how the message of Jesus touches every area of the followers life. I do covet your prayers as I work on putting this series together and the first message this Sunday.
