  • Wow! What a great week at Lake Cushman for Six8 Camping Retreat and Family Camp over the weekend. We had a great time with everyone, on the water and sitting under God’s Word. Pastor Barry Gorsuch brought several challenges from Mark 5 on Living an Adventurous Faith each evening. We would then have wonderful discussion times in the morning session as we talked about the passage from the night before. I want to say thanks to everyone that participated and those that helped make this year’s family camp awesome.
  • We had a great Sunday Service this past week too. It was amazing to see the Lord working in a number of different ways at both locations this Sunday. I am sure glad that we were able to make both work.
  • We have had a couple individuals commit their lives to Christ recently. Let me encourage you to be praying for them as well as for the families that are going through difficult times right now. Prayer requests and update are distributed for our prayer group (and other ministries) on our church social network called “the City.” Please contact Pastor Joe of the church office for an invite to join.
  • Please keep praying for someone that can “Sign” in the service. We would like to offer this. We have been unable to locate someone that could help. Please let Pastor Joe know if you have any ideas.
  • This Sunday we will introduce our new September MMV. There is still time to brush up on August’s verse “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1) I hope you are encouraged and strengthened as you commit this verse to memory. Also let me encourage those of you with smart phones or tablets to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • We will continue our mini-series on Living Out Worship this Sunday as we work through Romans 13. Again we will be challenged to make living sacrifices in how we interact with others as “Spiritutal Worship!” This week we will be looking at how we can worship through our relationship with government and a reminder of saying no to the sinful desire of the flesh! Thanks again for praying for our ministry. The Lord is working in hearts and lives. It is your prayers that empower the ministry of Living Hope. Thank You!
