Rearview Mirror 9-8-2016

  • It was 15 years ago at this time of the year that we were scrambling to put all the pieces together to launch a new church in Port Orchard. It is amazing to ponder the Lord’s faithfulness over these past years. The Lord’s faithfulness should encourage us to press forward for our next year of ministry! It has also been a blessing to think of all the faithful servants that have made this ministry possible. What a blessing it has been to be a part of what the Lord has been doing!
  • I am excited about our new series “Endangered Relationships.” We will be looking at what the Bible has to say about our relationships with others. It has been a burden on my heart to address the other important relationship in our lives in addition to marriage. This series will allow us to look at a number of different relationships that are endangered or at least under stress in many of our lives.
  • The Six-8 Back to School Overnighter is this Friday, September 9 at the Ministry Center. Be sure to get your Jr and Sr High school age students to this kick off event!
  • The “Endangered Relationship” mailer will be printed tomorrow. We will need helping preparing the mailer this coming Monday, September 12th at 1:30 PM. If you are available to prepare the mailer Monday, it would be a huge help. Please contact Pastor Joe.
  • There will be a Women’s Ministry Launch Dinner, Friday September 23, at 6pm at the Ministry Center. We are excited to have Sue Lunsford, the wife of our new regional director as the guest speaker. The cost is $25 per person.

  • Thinking of the past 15 years and looking forward to a new year of ministry I will be bring a special message on  Our Ministry Partnership with Jesus. We know that Jesus will build His church, and we also know that He works through willing servants! Pray for me as a prepare for this challenging message.
