- This Sunday we kick off our AWANA program. It promises to be an exciting year. I want to say thank you to all the workers and parents that are making an investment in helping their kids learn God’s word. Just a reminder that AWANA will not be at the Given Center just up the street from the Ministry Center this Sunday September 16th , 5:30pm.
- There is not much to update you with on the property of the sale of the MC. Just encourage you to pray. The one highlight is that work on the property entrance begins next week!
- I want to say thank you to everyone that is helping pack up the office. We are making great progress and would appreciate additional help. We could especially use someone to help pack up the kitchen. If you are available to help, please talk with Pastor Joe.

- I continue to be amazed at King David’s Godly character as it shines through during this disastrous time in his life. This week we will look at an account where he lets his emotions get the better of him and forgets about the context of the moment and the sacrifice of others for him. The challenge for him and for us during those difficult times is to keep our emotions in check. This week I’ve titled the sermon “Learn to be Self Controlled.” Thank you again for praying for me and especially as I study. The Lord is working in our congregation and your prayers are making a huge difference. Thank You.
