- Cleat Soccer Camp is underway. I am really excited for this year’s camp. We have over 103 players registered as of Wednesday, and we should expect a decent number of walk-ons Monday. All indications are that this camp could be larger than last year! Wow! We will be accepting walk on players the day of camp. Please get the word out.
- Thanks to everyone that is helping out with camp. Just a couple of reminders are in order: 1. Please remember to get your snack donations to the Ministry Center by Friday. 2. Please be on time or early Monday morning. 3. I still have an opening for one dinner with the team (talk to Pastor Joe) 4. If you would like to help, we would love to have you! (Contact Pastor Berney) and 5. Pray, Pray, Pray.
- The OCU team will be arriving over the next couple of days. The Murtons are flying in Wednesday and the team will arrive later Thursday night (actually 1 AM Friday morning).
- In a couple of weeks, Friday July 21 at 7pm there will be a baby shower for Sheila K. at the Ministry Center. I hope that you can be a part of this exciting time.
- We are in need of a person that can “Sign” in the service. We would like to offer this. We have been unable to locate someone that could help. Please let Pastor Joe know if you have any ideas.
- Our July MMV is “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14 What a great verse to each of us to memorize! - I still have a one spot for available for Family Camp this summer at Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. I am hoping that there is one more family so that I do not have to turn this site back in. I will hold off for one more week. Please let Pastor Joe know asap.
- It has been great studying Romans. This week we are scheduled to be in Romans 6. The message title is “Dying to Live.” We will be looking at how dying to self opens the door to really live. It will be a crazy week for me and those involved in Soccer Camp. Your prayers are much needed.
