Rearview Mirror 6-2-2016

  • I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. I am so Thankful for the sacrifice of those that have given their lives for our county and for those that are currently serving. Let let them know on the other days of the year that we appreciate them.
  • You should have gotten your Soccer Camp mailers in your mailbox. The number of mailers sent was 27,966. Thanks again to all those that helped count and get them ready. Be sure to hand deliver your mailer to someone in your life. We will also have more available this Sunday. And let’s not forget to pray for this year’s camp.
  • Our soccer camp is one of the best because of our congregational involvement. Please take a moment to fill out the insert Sunday indicating how you would like to help with this year’s camp.
  • There is a bridal shower coming up for Jess Sadowitz on Wednesday, June 8, at 7pm at the Ministry Center. Jess and our son Joe will be tying the knot on July 2nd back in Pennsylvania.
  • It is hard to believe that we have another wedding in our family next Saturday June 11th for our daughter Emylee and her fiancée Troy. We appreciate your prayers for the service and for all that needs to get done over the next week.
  • Our Jr and Sr High Ministry , Six8 is hosting a parent meeting on Friday June 17th 7pm. If you have students in this ministry you are encouraged to come to the Schramek’s. Zac will be soliciting input and sharing his plans for the next ministry year.
  • Congrats to Sarah on her High School graduation. You are invited to an open house for our daughter Sarah next Saturday June 18th from 2-4pm at the Parkinson house.
  • I am excited about the kickoff of our Celebrate Summer series. This Summer we will be focusing on the book of 1 Samuel. We had such a strong response to the dramatic monologues last summer (and it was fun) we are doing it again. Starting this Sunday we will have a number of characters from 1 Samuel visit sharing insights from the different Biblical accounts. I do covet your prayers for myself and those helping work on the narrations for this Sunday and the coming weeks.
