- Happy Fathers Day! we will be honoring our Fathers this Sunday. It is a great day to encourage those men that have accepted the role of being Godly fathers (and even those that do not yet know the Lord.) Our culture seems to love putting down fathers, yet the Bible reminds us how vital they are to solid marriages, solid families, solid governments and solid churches! Thank You Dads!
- It was a blessing to have our 2nd daughter get married. Caryl and I want to say thank you to everyone that shared in their special day and especially those that helped! Continue to pray for the new couple as they move into this next stage of life.
- Our Jr and Sr High Ministry, Six8, is hosting a parent meeting this Friday, June 17th, at 7pm. If you have students in this ministry you are encouraged to come to the Ministry Center. Zac will be soliciting input and sharing his plans for the next ministry year.
- The Soccer Camp Early Bird registration ends this coming Monday June 20th. Please spread the word. The $55 early bird registration fee needs to be postmarked by Monday June 20th. This is a great motivator to get those in your life registered.
- Congrats to Sarah on her High School graduation. You are invited to an open house for our daughter Sarah next Saturday June 18th from 2-4pm at the Parkinson house.
- We will be continuing our Celebrate Summer series as we move into the next section of 1 Samuel. You will want to join us again this week as we have a special visitor to our service! Thanks for praying that the Lord would use these dramatic monologues to speak into our lives.
