- Thanks Pastor Zac for ministering God’s Word this past Sunday. We have an incredible team at Living Hope. I was blessed as he focused on John 13 and giving us some background to the passage. I so appreciate he and Carol and all that they do!
- We had a great congregational meeting this past Sunday. I want to say “Thank You” to everyone that was part of helping get everything ready. We approved the church budget for next year, elected two deacons (Congrats to Thom. B and Gary M.). We also had a profitable discussion on the property and other things. Our goal would be to have copies of the Annual report to those members that missed the meeting.
- It sounds like the Ladies had a great time at the Camp Gilead Women’s Retreat. Thanks to Camp Gilead for putting on this ministry and to those on the Women’s ministry team for their work in promoting this opportunity.
- We could use your help. We are tentatively planning on preparing the Soccer Camp mailer next Tuesday May 30th, 10AM at the Ministry Center. If you could help us count out the 27,000 mailers it would be greatly appreciated. It usually takes about 1.5 hours. Please let Pastor Joe know if you can help.
- We also have need for a English Sign Language interpreter for the AM service. If you can help or know of someone, please talk to Pastor Joe.
- Time is running out to memorize this months MMV (Monthly Memory Verse) for May, Psalm 119:33. Thanks to Zac for helping us work on memorizing it. I really enjoy my Bible memory app and recommend it to you. Check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
- We are looking forward to holding Family Camp this year. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend.
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the June verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- This week we will have a special Missionary speaker. Peter Hudson will be sharing his ministry in Medellin Columbia. This is something that I have been looking forward to for a long time. Pray for him as he travels from Boise and as he ministers to us this Sunday.
