- We had an incredible Easter weekend two weeks ago. I want to say Thank You to everyone that made this important weekend so special at Living Hope. What a great Sunday.
- We have been pushing memorizing a new Bible verse each month. This month we are working on Hebrews 6:10. Can I twist you arm to join us? You will be surprised how the Lord will use this verse in your life. Since this is the last Sunday for April I will also mention that our verse for May is Psalm 119:33. Another great verse. - Gals, our ladies retreat is just around the corner and you need to go. We need to make time to hang out with other believers and to sit under His Word. The Camp Gilead Ladies Retreat is May 19-20. Check out the bulletin insert for more info.
- Just a reminder to our Team Leaders that our May meeting is next Tuesday May 2nd, 7pm at the Ministry Center. Also don’t forget that Andi needs the Annual Report for your ministry. Thanks to those that have already submitted them.
- It has been wonderful to get to know Jason Doolittle and Lyndzee Hamby. Their wedding is coming up next Saturday May 6 at 1pm. You are invited. Please check out the Sunday insert for more information as we celebrate their special day.
- There is a surprise party being planned for Joyce Pavladakes next Sunday May 7 from 12 noon through 3pm at Ridgemont. Come help us celebrate her 70th birthday.
- It is hard to imagine that our AWANA program has finished another year. It is always exciting for me to learn of all the verses and Bible knowledge that is learned each year and final awards are given. The Award and Dessert night to celebrate this year’s accomplishments is Sunday May 7, 5:30pm at the Ministry Center.
- Mother’s day is just around the corner. If you are interested in having your children dedicated, please speak with Pastor Joe.
- The monthly Ladies discipleship group will be meeting next Sunday May 6. Please note that there is a time change for this month. It is 9am-11am.
- Gals, the Ladies Bible study is meeting on Wednesday evenings. There is still time for you to get in on the study of Philippians that meets Wednesday nights 6:45pm at the Ministry Center. Please talk to Joelle if you are interested.
- We are looking forward to holding Family Camp this year. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend to.
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the June verse. Please text pr email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- I hope you have been blessed with our “Life Lessons” series on the life of Jesus. This Sunday I will be looking at a passage that challenges us to “Live as Changed” as we look at how a relationship with Jesus changes our outlook and attitude on life. I do want to say thank you to each of you that pray for me as I prepare to minister God’s Word each week.
