- Thank you for the chance to get away for our Fellowship’s Annual Meeting. We are part of the Baptist Network Northwest. It was great to get away and spend time learning from a servant of God as well as spending time together with other ministry leaders. Pastor and author Larry Osborn shared insights from God’s Word and his book “Sticky Team.” I was glad I did not miss it. Our fellowship also voted unanimously to approve our new director “Pastor Dave Lunsford.” I am excited about the leadership Dave will bring to our fellowship.
- Let me encourage you to be praying for the development of our church property. We are putting the finishing touches on our application for a Conditional Use Permit. I appreciate your prayers as we work through this process.
- Six 8 youth will be meeting at Schramek’s this Friday evening at 7pm.
- We are beginning a new small groups this week. It will be meeting on Sunday evenings. If you are interested in plugging in, please talk to Pastor Joe. There will be more information this Sunday.
- We have already received several responses for our Child Dedication service scheduled for Mother’s Day. If you are interested, please sign up this Sunday or contact the church office.
- I have been taking to others about Baptism. We are preparing to do another Baptism in a couple weeks. Please talk to Pastor Joe if you are interested.
- This week we will be continuing our series “I Love My Church” with an emphasis of “Love by Giving.” We will be taking a different look at this important need to be like Jesus. Thank you for praying for the ministry of God’s Word. You are making a difference!
