- I am continually reminded of the blessing of being a follower of Jesus. This past week (March 2nd) I celebrated my 35th year as a follower of Jesus. There have been absolutely no regrets. I am so thankful that someone took the interest to share the message of Jesus with me. I’ve given my list to paying it forward into the lives of others.
- We had a special meeting with the county on our Conditional Use Permit. It looks like we hit a road block on our request for a variance. Please keep praying. We will be making a few minor changes to our Site Plan requested by the county. Hopefully this will put us into a position where they would be able to recommend our plan. Continue to pray for our church finances as these steps do involve cost.
- Can I twist your arm to join others in our congregation in our MMV (Monthly Memory Verse)? Our March verse is Philippians 4:6-7. Come Sunday prepared to recite it! Also, if you are looking for a good phone app, I recommend the Scripture Typer App. (IOS and Android)
- I know August seems a long way off, but Family Camp is just around the corner. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us as we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend.
- There is a need for additional helpers in our Sunday KidsZone Ministry and for our Sunday evening AWANA program. If you are interested, please talk to Kendra D. (KidsZone) and Pastor Berney (AWANA).
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the April verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- This Sunday we will continue our “Life Lessons” series by looking at Jesus’ calling of his first four disciples. It is an account that reminds us that all followers of Jesus have been called to be on a mission for Him The message this week will focus on “Live by Mission.” I hope that you will join us as we dig into the lessons we can learn from Jesus’ life and ministry. Please pray that the Lord would work in my heart as I pour of his Word and these accounts from the gospels. Thank You for praying.
