- It is crazy how quickly things can change. It has been a busy couple weeks for me working through changes with our Sunday school use suspended and then setting up an online service this past Sunday. I want to say thank you to everyone that has helped and those that participated. I know that it is not the same as a real service but I was encourage by those who participated and commented. Thank You.
- Thanks for those that have volunteered to help with picking up groceries and prescriptions for those who are shut in. If you would like to help with this please let Pastor Joe know. We will add you to the list. If you need help please contact Pastor Joe. We have a number of volunteers that are ready and willing to help.
- I want to encourage you to join OnRealm.Org. It is a private online social media site for our congregation. It is a safe place that we can communicate information, coordinate ministry teams and needs within our body. It is also a place to get contact information of our members. It is also your source for a copy of you financial giving statement. If you need help getting setup or accessing an older account from “The City” please contact Pastor Joe.
- Pastor Berney and I will be teaming up again this Sunday to Live Stream Sunday at 10 AM (More information how in the next item below). I am encouraging our congregation to get it set up on their TV. I see three benefits for this: 1. It allows your family to watch together. 2. It is easier to stay focused than just using your phone. 3. The picture quality is better. Here is the link to the Living Hope Facebook group.
- We are working on also offering the service on YouTube this Sunday. I will be posting information on the church website, Realm and Facebook group once it has been tested. This will benefit those who do not use Facebook as well as those who want to use their TV but do not have access to the Facebook Watch TV app. The app is not available for Roku users and some other devices (List of Supported Devices).
- I have been asked “How Do I Give to the Church Now?” There are two options available now and we are working on a third. The first two options are: 1. Mail a check to Living Hope Church, P.O. Box 908, Port Orchard, WA 98366. 2. Add the church to your Bank’s bill pay service if offered. We have signed up for a third option that allows for online giving. We are hoping to have it available this week. We are also looking at other options like Paypal, etc. Please contact me with any questions.
- Things are moving forward at the property this week. The Office Modular has been re-roofed. Some final work has been done on the electrical and we have continued to lay bark. I am going to post a video on Facebook live as soon as I get this done. Please continue to pray for the SDAP permit.
- Gals, just a reminder that while our Women’s Ministry “One Day Ladies Retreat” is still on the calendar April 25, it may not happen based on the Coronavirus situation.
