Rearview Mirror 2-8-2018

  • The guys had an incredible time participating in the “”Unspoken” Johnny Hunt Simulcast this past Saturday. It was great to have a good group of our men participate in this event. I want say thanks to Pastor Berney for all his work on coordinating this and to Pastor Zac for his hospitality and cooking!
  • I do want to say a big Thank You to our Ministry Team Leaders. I am so thankful for those that oversee the many different areas of ministry here at Living Hope. It is always a blessing for me to get together to coordinate our ministry. I especially enjoy our times of prayer. Thank you Ministry Team Leaders.
  • Ladies, it is time for another baby shower. This Saturday is a shower for Emylee Reardon at 1PM at the Harts. This is a great time for you gals to get together to encourage and support a new mother.
  • We have been working hard to provide opportunities for you to connect with others here at Living Hope. This Sunday after the AM service there will be a Potluck. We are hoping you will stay and asking families to bring a main dish and dessert or main dish and salad.
  • The Six8 student ministry is planning a Star Wars Movie Marathon for Presidents Day Weekend. The event will run from Friday February 16 through Saturday February 17 at Pastor Zac’s. If your Jr or Sr High students are interested, please talk to Pastor Zac.
  • Our next Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 25th at the Ministry Center. We will be discussing some new developments in our journey to develop our church property. It is exciting to see the Lord working. Please be praying for God’s direction and wisdom in this and other areas and plan to join us for the meeting.
  • Our February MMV (Monthly Memory Verse) is “““Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34 ESV  Let me encourage those of you with smart phones or tablets to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • This week, as we continue our study through Ecclesiastes, we will be moving into chapter 4. The sermon title for this week’s “Fulfilled!” sermon is “Life Just Isn’t Fair!” Solomon reminds us how cruel this world can be when it turns it back on God. The Lord has been using your prayers to work in my life and to touch others. Thank you for your ministry in praying for me and the weekend sermon!
