- I want to say Thank You to Pastor Berney and everyone that helped do ministry this past Sunday. Caryl and I had the privilege of babysitting several of our grandchildren while our oldest daughter gave birth to our newest granddaughter. Our family is now equal at four grandsons and four granddaughters. We also enjoyed spending time with their three boys. Thank You.
- We continue to move forward on the church site each week. I am busy working on a number of the administrative details. We are in the process of finalizing the specifications for the Worship Modular so that it can move to the design phase. We have been continuing to work on the landscaping and also the siding of the Office Modular. Please keep praying for getting power to the site. We are currently waiting on a state permit for PSE to bring services across Sedgwick Rd.
- Guys, just a reminder that Valentine’s Day is this Friday.
- Our Annual February Potluck is schedule for this Sunday February 16th following the AM Service. We are asking each family to bring a main dish and dessert OR a main dish and salad.
- Six 8 youth will be hosting the Ocean5 Duck pin Bowling and Laser Tag event Saturday February 22, 2020. Please contact Pastor Zac for more details.
- It is strange having two business meetings so close, but our 3rd Quarterly Meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 23rd with location to be determined.
- This Sunday we will be focusing on a new memory verse for February, “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 ESV A simple but profound verse that reminds us that we have the resources available to say “No” to temptation. If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
- This week we will be starting a new mini-series focusing on Galatians chapters 3 and 4 diving into the heart of the Christian faith, salvation by faith alone. These foundational truths are essential as the foundation of our faith and especially if we are to live above conflict. I do appreciate your prayers as I spend time crafting the messages for this next section of our study in Galatians.
