Rearview Mirror 11-26-2020

  • I hope that you will take time, in whatever format that happens to be this year, to celebrate the Lord’s faithfulness and blessing in your life this Thursday. We have so much to be thankful for and especially for those of us that belong to Jesus. Happy Thanksgiving!
  • Ladies Discipleship group will be meeting Saturday December 12 10am – Noon at the new Ministry Center (Office Building). Reach out to Caryl with any questions.
  • The Men’s group is meeting on Wednesday evenings. Contact Pastor Berney for more info.
  • Six8- Please check our Facebook for the most current information.
  • It is official! We now have our occupancy permit for the Office modular. We are now working on getting the offices set up so that we can move our operation onsite. The building will also be available for ministry use, please contact Pastor Joe.
  • The Worship building foundation is currently half way done and should be done next week. The following week (December 7th) the construction crews will finish out the foundation work. The delivery of the buildings is being worked out. The plan is that they will be put in place around December 8th. There are a number of coordinated tasks to be completed over the next several weeks. Things are moving very quickly now. It is exciting to think that we could be meeting as early as the end of January! Please keep praying for all the details and favorable weather conditions.
  • Our November Memory Verse is “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;” James 1:19 ESV  James reminds us in another place of the damage that can be done with our tongues referring to like starting a forest fire.  If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
  • This week we will keep moving forward in our study on “Lessons for the Journey.” We appreciate your prayers for the study for this Sunday’s message. Please pray that the Lord would first work in us as Pastors and then work through us.
