- This past Sunday was a wonderful day! I am so glad that we rescheduled the event. I was reminded of how much Living Hope has been blessed by the Lord. I know that many of you were encouraged as well. I want to thank everyone that celebrated with us Sunday whether present in body or in spirit. I also want to say Thank You to everyone that chipped in to make the Anniversary happen!
- Let me mention this one more week, our first service (9:00AM) is a “Mask Required” service. The second service 10:30AM is “Mask Optional” service. Thanks for everyone’s support for these two services.
- Interested in learning more about Living Hope? Our first 101 Discovering Membership Class for the ministry year is scheduled for Saturday October 23rd 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Lunch will be provided. Sign-up in the bulletin.
- AWANA meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm- 7:30pm. Students in the K – 6th Grades are encouraged to participate. This is great way to introduce new families to Living Hope. Contact Pastor Berney for specifics.
- Adult Bible Study is meeting on Tuesday evenings at 7 PM at Admin Building. Contact Thom B for more information.
- Women’s Disciple Group #2 is a new group that meets on Wednesday mornings 10AM in the Admin Building. Ladies if you are interested in going deeper in your faith and developing relationship with other Godly women, this if the place. Contact Caryl P for more information.
- Prayer Meeting is Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Admin Building. We are committed to marching forward on our knees!
- Men’s Bible Studies, both AM and PM meet on Thursday at 10am and 7PM respectively. Pastor Joe’s 10 AM group is a sermon based study and Pastor Berney’s 7Pm group is studying Ephesians.
- Our new Monthly Memory Verse(s) for October are a reminder to “Look to the Lord” (our new sermon series.) “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1–2 ESV I strongly encourage you to develop a system for memorizing Scripture. - This week we kick off a new 4 weeks series “Looking to God!” It is a message to encourage God’s people to focus on Jesus. This week we will be working through Psalm 121. The three pastors will be taking turns over following three weeks to focus on the essentials of “Living by Faith,” “Living with Hope” and “Living in Love.” Thanks so very much for your prayers.
