- This past week I gave away my youngest daughter to her husband. What a great day it was. Thanks to everyone that attended, those that helped out and those that prayed. The weather was great and everything went smoothly. It is always a special time to see your child cross that threshold into marriage. It is also a reminder to us that life goes on. I am so thankful for coming to my senses many decades ago. I am now able to cherish all those memories and I celebrated a new chapter of life for Michael and Sarah De Los Santos!
- Thinking about the National Elections this next week, let us be bring our nation before the Lord. Our nation desperately needs soldiers that march on their knees.
- Let me encourage you to intentionally touch another person this holiday season. One way we can do that is by putting together gift boxes for our 2020 Operation Christmas Child drive. Just a reminder you can still pickup boxes if needed (Please contact George H). The drop off is Sunday November 15th from 1-3pm at the church property.
- Ladies, just a reminder that the next Ladies Discipleship group is just around the corner on Saturday November 7 10am- Noon at Nina’s home. Please contact Caryl P for more details.
- The OCC coordinator at Adventure of Faith has reached out looking for help collecting boxes over the collection week of November 16-23. Available slots are from 9Am-Noon and 4PM-7PM. Please contact Tyna H for more information.
- I want to give a shout out to those helping cover the cost of replacing the Windows on the modular. I know of three donations covering $1100 of the $2000 cost. If you are desiring to be a part just designate your gift as “Windows.” The windows have been ordered and will be installed once they arrive.
- The Worship building is on schedule to be completed next week! Yes, you read the correctly. We are working on all the other details for it to be delivered and installed. We are still waiting for one small item to be cleared for our building permit. We are also working with all the agencies and contractors to coordinate the dance. I will let you know as soon as I know more. Please keep praying for the project and the property team.
- Property Team guys we are meeting this Saturday October 31 at 1 PM at the property to wrap up some specifics on the Worship building. Please contact Pastor Joe if you cannot make it.
- I was excited to hear that one family has adopted a portion of the church landscaping. The challenge is for others to adopt a section to help us keep it presentable as a testimony for the Lord. Please contact Pastor Berney if you are interested getting involved.
- Pastor Joe’s 7 PM Wednesday Night Study is currently NOT meeting due to my schedule.
