  • I want to thank everyone that came out for the special Congregational Meeting last Sunday. Our congregation voted unanimously to move forward to the purchase of a worship modular. If you missed the meeting, Pastor Joe, will be able to update you on the exciting things that are happening. I also want to say thanks to Steve F and Joe P for their help in getting the room ready and laying out the tape to give us an idea of the new facility. Things are in motion now moving towards a May delivery date.
  • We are busy working on wrapping up the details on the existing site to clear the way for the new building. If you have any time and are able to help, please contact Pastor Joe. We are currently working on completing the landscaping. PSE is currently waiting for a permit to bring electricity across the street to our site.
  • There are two big events this weekend. The guys will be hosting the Johnny Hunt Men’s Retreat Simulcast this Friday 1/30 and Saturday 2/1 at the Schramek’s. Let’s encourage our men to be part of this special event. Contact Pastor Berney with any questions.
  • The other events is for the ladies. The Ladies Discipleship is meeting this Saturday, February 1, at the Parkinson’s home.
  • Our Annual February Potluck is schedule for Sunday February 16th following the AM Service. Please watch the bulletin for information on this Annual Living Hope event.
  • It is strange having two business meetings so close, but our 3rd Quarterly Meeting is scheduled for  Sunday February 23rd with location to be determined.
  • This Sunday we will be focusing on a new memory verse for February, “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 ESV  A simple but profound verse that reminds us that we have the resources available to say “No” to temptation. If you struggle with memorizing or even consistency, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
  • This week we will cover a passage where one believer challenges another to live to Biblical standards.  Our focus this week in our study of Galatians “Living Above Conflict”  will call us to “Living the Changed Life with Accountability.”  It is humbling to see the way the Lord is working in our congregation. It is a result of your prayers. Thank you for praying for me and especially for the preaching of God’s truth each Sunday.
