- Let me encourage you to pray for those dealing with illness. It is one of those times of the year that a number of those we know and love are fighting something. This is not only a good time to pray but to also help out as your can.
- The big thing this week is Family Camp. We are looking forward to returning to Lake Cushman this Summer. The camp will be over the weekend of August 25-27. The cost will be about $35 per site per night. We need to hear from your if you are interested so that we can reserve sites.
- Speaking of Baptism. We have another group that is interested in getting Baptized. If you are interested or have questions please speak with Pastor Joe.
- Please pray for the church property and our pursuit of the Conditional Use Permit. We submitted our revisions based in interaction with the county planners. Hopefully, this will be the last time. I am excited with our plans. We need to be praying as the plans are review and then go before a the Hearing Examiner. I will keep you posted as things develop.
- There is a need for additional helpers in our Sunday KidsZone Ministry and for our Sunday evening AWANA program. If you are interested, please talk to Kendra D. (KidsZone) and Pastor Berney (AWANA).
- This is the last week to work on our January Monthly Memory Verse (MMV) at Living Hope. Our January verse is Acts 11:34. If you are interested in getting ahead, February’s verse is 2 Peter 1:3. If you are looking for a phone app, I recommend the Scripture Typer App. (IOS and Android)
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the March verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- It is exciting to have so many kids at Living Hope. It is also exciting to celebrate the birth of children. There is a Baby Shower for Stephanie Frame on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Ministry Center.
- Men, in addition to our other studies a New Men’s group is meeting on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Ministry Center. If you are interested please speak to one of the pastors.
- Ladies, just a reminder that the Ladies Bible Study is meeting on Wednesday evening. Please contact Sharlene for more specifics.
- The Ladies Discipleship group meets the first Saturday of each month. The next meeting is Saturday Feb. 4th, 10am-Noon at the Ministry Center.
- This week we will take a look at the need to “Focus on Healthy Living.” This is huge because how you feel impacts all that you do. I do covet your prayers as I prepare for this week’s service.
