It was a great Sunday this past weekend. It is exciting to see how the Lord is working in hearts and lives. One of the highlights each week is the buzz of people connecting with each other before and after the service.
Please continue to pray for the site development. We are moving forward with many smaller details of larger pieces. Pray for the team and engineer and the county as we press forward with our Site Development Permit (SDAP). We are currently waiting on one piece related to water and sewer. There has also been a lot of activity related to the modular that we have purchased. Please pray that we are able to lock down the vendor to disassemble the unit. And we are making progress on the floorplan for the new Worship modular. Pray for the Lord’s direction on this important piece.
Guys, you will not want to miss the Johnny Hunt Men’s conference that will be this Friday, January 25, at 7 PM at Schramek’s. The simulcast has been a huge blessing to our men over the last several years. Our time together will extend into Saturday, January 26. We will start at 8:30am and should be done around 3pm. There is a small cost for the event. There are scholarships available. Please reach out to Pastor Joe.
Ladies, just a reminder that the next Ladies Discipleship group is just around the corner. The next group will be Saturday, February 2, 10am-Noon at the Ungureanu Home. Check the bulletin for directions. Or reach out to Caryl Parkinson for info.
We are looking for additional dry storage for the remaining items from the Ministry Center. We would like to avoid storage costs if possible. We are wondering if you may know of any options. We have a number of items that need to have a dry environment with stable temperatures (not necessarily heated). Please reach out to Pastor Joe if you know of something.
This is the last week for our January MMV from Psalm 23:4. I hope you have it down. “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” (Psalm 23:4) If you want to work ahead we will be doing verse 5 in February. This Sunday as we continue the “A New You” series on Salvation, we will be looking at God’s call. Our study will explore how God reaches out to us with the Good News. I do appreciate your prayers as I study for this series. We will be working through several important teachings related to salvation. I need the Lord’s wisdom in understanding and the best way to present it to our congregation. Thank You.
