  • I am excited about the progress we continue to make on the church site. I learned just over a week ago that we are in a good position to have our Worship modular building and delivered by the end of May of this year. I realized several years ago that our congregational decision to develop our property would be a major ministry focus for me. It has been exciting to see the Lord’s hand all through the process. We are now on the verge of taking the next step on the Worship modular. This is a huge step that will allow us to bring all our ministries together onto one campus (that has room for growth)!
  • We have a special Business Meeting this Sunday 3PM at Parkwood Community Center, 3045 Madrona Drive. Our focus will be on the Worship Modular. The community Center is similar in size to the worship area of the new building. Our congregation has already voted to pursue this option. This meeting with be to go over the specifics and answer any questions. It is our desire, if there is a consensus, to vote on the purchase, loan from Northwest Baptist Home Mission and other related items.
  • We are also launching a Financial Peace University class starting this Sunday January 26 at the Nelsons home. Please check out the bulletin this Sunday for more information.
  • Ladies Discipleship is just around the corner on Saturday February 1, at the Parkinson’s home.
  • Guys, we will be hosting the “Johnny Hunt Men’s Conference” on January 31- February 1 at the Schramek’s home. Please use the sign-up in the bulletin. This is a must attend conference. Contact Pastor Berney with any questions.
  • Looking ahead: Our Annual February Potluck is schedule for Sunday February 16th following the AM Service and just a week later is our 3rd Quarterly Meeting at February 23rd with location to be determined.
  • Our first memory verse for the New Year is Galatians 2:20 ““I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 ESV  If you are struggling in this area, let me encourage you to check out the Bible Memory App. (IOS and Android) www.BibleMemory.com
  • We will continue our study in the biographical section of Galatians as we move into chapter 2.  Paul reminds us of the importance for those serving Jesus to be accountable to others. It adds credibility to our ministry against attack. The message is, “Living the Changed Life with Accountability.” Thanks again for your prayers. This is the real power behind God’s work at Living Hope. Thanks for fighting the battle for the Gospel with your prayers.
