- We are off and running in our third iCare Campaign of the year. I am really excited about this series, even though it launched at the same time that the Seahawks were in the playoffs. Even with that we still had a good number of families visit and I am sure that we will see some more Hawk fans this coming weekend.
- Just a reminder that our 101 Discovering Church Membership Seminar will be this Saturday January 23rd at 9 am at the Ministry Center. Lunch will be provided and we will be done by 3 pm. Please contact the church office if you can attend.
- There will be NO Six-8 Youth group meeting this Friday.
- Gals, there is still time to get plugged into the new Beth Moore study “Anointed, Transformed and Redeemed.” This study from the life of David meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm at the Ministry Center.
- Just a heads up that we are interested in launching another Small group for those interested. Please contact Pastor Joe.
- Guys, last year a group of us participated in the John Hunt Men’s Conference simulcast. We will be hosting it again this year February 5-6 at the Ministry Center. Be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s event.
- This week we continue our “Transformed” series. Our study in Romans 12 will be focusing on verse 2 in a message titled, “Taking the Rights Steps to Grow.” This will be nothing new for most of our regular attenders, but it is a truth that we all need to be reminded of regularly. I appreciate your prayers as I dig into this verse in my studies for this week’s message. The truth here is straight forward but is also transforming if we will embrace it. I do covet your prayers because spiritual growth is a spiritual battle, not only for the pastor but for those listening. Your prayers will release God’s power in hearts. Thanks for praying for me and the message this Sunday.
