- Congratulations to the three men baptized this past Sunday. What an awesome day. I always enjoy the testimony and sharing with the work of God’s miracle of salvation in the lives of others. Please remember to pray for these men as they grow in Christ.
- Speaking of Baptism. We have another group that is interested in getting Baptized. If you are interested or have questions please speak with Pastor Joe.
- Please pray for the church property and our pursuit of the Conditional Use Permit. We submitted our revisions based on interaction with the county planners. Hopefully, this will be the last time. I am excited with our plans. We need to be praying as the plans are reviewed and then go before the Hearing Examiner. I will keep you posted as things develop.
- There is a need for additional helpers in our Sunday KidsZone Ministry and for our Sunday evening AWANA program. If you are interested, please talk to Kendra D. (KidsZone) and Pastor Berney (AWANA).
- It is not too late to get on the Monthly Memory Verse (MMV) at Living Hope. Our January verse is Luke 11:34. If you are looking for a phone app, I recommend the Scripture Typer App. (IOS and Android)
- Speaking of Memory Verses. I am soliciting your favorite verses for MMV for March. I have already selected the February verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- It is exciting to have so many kids at Living Hope. It is also exciting to celebrate the birth of children. There is a Baby Shower for Stephanie Frame Saturday, February 4, 2017 1:00PM at the Ministry Center.
- Men, in addition to our other studies, a new Men’s group is meeting on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Ministry Center. If you are interested please speak to one of the pastors.
- Ladies, just a reminder that the new Ladies Bible Study has launched and is meeting on Wednesday evening. Please contact Sharlene for more specifics.
- The Ladies Discipleship group meets the first Saturday of each month. The next meeting is Saturday, February 4th, 10am-Noon at the Ministry Center.
- I decided late last week to postpone our “Reboot 2017” message so that we could focus on the baptismal service. I will pick up this week where we left off looking at the importance of my relationship with my wife and kids. This is our second message in our Reboot 2017 series. It is so easy to neglect the most important human relationships in our lives. Please pray for me as I prepare for this Sunday. Pray that the Lord would speak to my heart first then to our congregation.
