Let me encourage you to be praying about developing our new church site. We have come to a point where many different pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place. We need the Lord’s wisdom for each of these areas. Let me encourage you to pray for those on the Property Team that are steering the process. Also pray that we might find favor with the different agencies and the related permits as well as working with vendors.
I want to say Thank You to the great group that came out last Saturday to move a trailer full (our church trailer) of stuff out of the ministry center into storage. We were able to clear our two more spaces at the ministry center. I also want to give a shout out to the Hansens for providing some storage for these items.
Just a last minute reminder that the 101 Membership Class is this Saturday. There is still time for you to get in on the class. Please contact Pastor Joe. The Class is Saturday January 12 from 9am – 3 pm at the Ministry Center. Lunch will be provided.
Gals, the next Ladies Discipleship Group will be Saturday January 12. The ladies will be meeting at Amy F’s house. Please contact her for directions.
Guys, just a reminder that the Johnny Hunt Men’s conference will be January 25-26. The event will begin on Friday evening and then carry over to Saturday. This has been a highlight with our Men each year. Guys you do not want to miss this.
Our January MMV will be the next verse in Psalm 23, verse 4. It is a reminder that the Lord has our backs and is working to keep us on track. We are also reminded that our lives are a testimony before others to Him. “He restores my soul. This Sunday I will be kicking off our next series on Salvation. We will be calling the series A New Year, A New You as we look at how a person is recreated by Jesus. I seek your prayers for me as I work on the message dealing with the launch of the new series.
