- Thanks to everyone that worked together to make our first Public Service in a year a huge success. There were so many of you that helped in so many different ways. Thank You! There was something very special about it also being Easter Sunday. We are also blessed with a number of new people in both services. Thank You.
- We are going to continue holding two services, at least for the month of April. The first service at 9AM will be mask required with no children’s ministries and the second service at 10:30 AM mask optional with birth through 5th grade children’s ministries. Last week I encouraged those that could to come to the first service but this is no longer necessary. Please feel free to attend the service of your choosing.
- I want to give a shout out to the men that have helped to empty out the Marcus Connex box. Thank You. We are hoping to have it moved onto our site in the next couple weeks.
- The big news is that AWANA will begin this Sunday, April 11, at 5:30PM in the new MC. We will be offering a modified program. Please be sure to pass the word. Please contact Pastor Berney with any questions.
- We need someone to help us sell many items that are no longer needed. We are looking for someone with experience on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist or _____ to help us. We will start with the excess Sound Equipment. We just need someone to manage the listing. We are able to provide help with pictures, descriptions and pricing. If you are able to help, please contact Pastor Joe.
- Let me encourage you to join us in prayer on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. It is a time for us to seek the Lord’s face for the ministry he has given us in Port Orchard.
- We have two Men’s groups that are meeting. Pastor Berney leads a Thursday Evening group at 7:00 pm at the church studying the Minor Prophets. Pastor Joe is leading the Thursday Men’s daytime group at 10AM, also at the office. The Thursday daytime group is doing Sermon based discussions for those interested.
- Ladies, time to make plans for the Spring Ladies Retreat. You can now register for the Friday and Saturday of April 23rd and 24th on Realm. This will be the first non-service event to be held in the new building! (Click Here to Register)
- Six-8 Youth Jr high meets on Sundays at 5-7pm at the Church Office. The Sr High is now also meeting on Fridays 6:30-8:30pm at the Church Office. Please contact Pastor Zac for more information.
- Our Monthly Memory Verse for April 2021 comes from our series in Philippians. It is a verse that reminds of the necessity to be other-center rather than self-centered. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3 ESV I would also suggest you add Philippians 2:4. - This Sunday we will be continuing our “Living About the Noise” series as we dig into our Savior’s other-centered example for the message “Choosing to Think Like Jesus.” Our passage is one of the premier sections on His attitude about His sacrifice for us.
