- I am so thankful that the Lord is in control. I know that this is a fundamental truth for those of us that follow Jesus, but it never grows old or irrelevant!
- This week at the property the HVAC Air Scrubbers were installed. It is amazing technology that is used by NASA to clean the air. The scrubbing is a two-step process that passes through a special filer and is also exposed to UV light. The combination has a one two punch. First it reduces RNA, DNA Viruses, and Bacteria, along with Fungal Spores. Second it reduces surface contaminants like staph, MRSA, Strep, Listeria, H5N8, Hepatitis, H1N1 and Norovirus. I was told while it has not been tested with Corona Virus, it is effective at reducing all it’s relative viruses. If you would like to contribute to this purchase please designate gifts to the church “Building Fund.”
- Also related to the building, please continue to pray for completion of the concrete flatwork (sidewalks), cable internet installation and a church sign.
- I want to give a shout out to several of the ladies that have started the process of cleaning the Worship building. Please coordinate with Caryl as we are still working around construction in the building (mostly installing cabling). Thank You!
- I was hoping for a possible public service in January but that is not going to happen. I would encourage you to join me in praying for February. Just as a reminder we are planning for a rolling startup. We have already started this by kicking off a number of different groups. Let me encourage you to plug into one.
- We have two Men’s groups that are meeting. Pastor Berney leads a Thursday Evening group at 7:00 pm at the church studying the Minor Prophets. Pastor Joe is leading the Thursday Men’s daytime group at 10AM also at the office. The Thursday morning group is doing Sermon based discussions for those interested.
- A big change this week is that we have moved our weekly prayer meeting to Wednesday evenings at 7 pm at the church. Let me encourage you to join us for prayer for the relaunch of our ministry.
- Six-8 Youth Jr high meets on Sunday 5-7pm at the Office. Sr High meets on Friday 6:30-8:30pm at the Office. The Tuesday night Youth Hangout 6:30-8:30pm out for both groups will continue to be at the Schramek’s. Please contact Pastor Zac for more information.
- Our Memory Verse for February 2021 will again remind us of one of the purposes of the new building: to bring the message of Jesus to others. “And such were some of you. - This week we continue our new Sermon Series “Move Forward” as we prepare for our service relaunch by reviewing the basics of the Church. We appreciate your prayers for the preparation of the sermon this coming Sunday. Please pray that the Lord would use it in our lives first that speak through us. Thank You
