- Let me encourage you once again to reach out to your friends and family this Easter. Ask them to attend church with you this Sunday. The Annual Easter Brunch is a great way to kick off the day. You might be surprised by their response, but you will never know if you do not ask.
- Here are the events planned for this weekend:
- Sunday Setup. We are asking those who are available to help with setup to be on-site at 8:45 AM. It is always a crunch to get everything done and your help is greatly appreciated.
- Easter Brunch begins at 9:15 AM. It is a great blessing to our team if you could arrive at 9am with the items that you are bringing. It will allow us to get started promptly.
- Our Easter service will feature a special presentation from our KidsZone students. The service will begin promptly at 10 AM. You will not want to miss it.
- Family Photos will be available both before and after the service. This is a great opportunity to get a Family Photo.
- I want to say Thank You to everyone that has been praying for us. It is good to be past the sickness that hit our family. I know that many of you have gone through it. I encourage you to pray and to reach out and help each other during these latest round of sickness.
- It is good to have the Modular on our church property. I think most of you know that we have received our SDAP permit. Thanks again for your prayers. The next item of prayer is securing a contractor to do the site work. There are some other administrative things that need to get done as well, but things are moving forward.
- Celebrating Easter, our Monthly Memory Verse is John 11:25-26. This verse reminds us of the security of our relationship in Jesus! “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”” (John 11:25–26 ESV ) If you are struggling in this area, let me encourage you to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
- This week we will be taking Easter Sunday to dig into the Biblical account of Easter and as an opportunity to share the Gospel. Easter is a special time in our culture and I do covet your prayers as I study again this week and prepare for our time in the word this weekend! Thank you for praying.
