- We are just a week away from having the “Office/Classroom” modular moved onto the church property. I would ask you to join me in praying for this next piece of the puzzle. The major details have been worked out, but let me encourage you to be praying that everything goes smoothly. I would also ask you to pray for the completion of our permit and direction for site excavation. It would be great to see these project milestones accomplished!
- Guys, time is running out to join our men for the Camp Gilead Men’s Retreat on April 5-6. Please take a moment to register online at www.campgilead.org and let Pastor Berney know that you are coming. We are planning to carpool to camp together on Friday leaving late Friday afternoon.
- Ladies, the next Discipleship group will be held Saturday April 6th from 10am-Noon. Please check out the flyer for the location or contact Caryl Parkinson.
- Let me remind you that Easter falls on April 21st this year. We are looking forward to our Easter traditions and some new twists. The week prior to Easter, Palm Sunday, April 14th we will have a special presentation from our KidsZone Ministry. You will not want to miss it.
- Our Easter Sunday will begin with Brunch at 9:15 AM. Please sign up this Sunday for items to bring for this special event. This is not only a great time of celebration but also excellent for inviting your family and friends.
- We have decided this year to give the traditional Egg Hunt a break (no pun intended!) Yes, we will be collecting candy for Candy bags for the kids. We will be replacing it with a Family Photo opportunity. We will be providing the opportunity for families to have their picture taken in their Sunday best.
- This is the last week for our March MMV and we complete Psalm 23. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6 ESV) If you are struggling in this area, let me encourage you to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
- We only have a couple weeks left in our Salvation study, “A New You.” This week we will focus on what some call the “Assurance of Salvation” or “Perseverance of the Saints” in a message “Hold Fast.” We will be looking at what the Bible has to teach us concerning the security of our relationship with Jesus. The Lord has been working through our services. I want to thank you for praying.
