Rearview Mirror 3-7-2019

  • I want to give a shout out to everyone that helped with the final move out of the Ministry Center. I want to say thank you to those who helped pack, those who helped move and those who helped clean. Thank You. We are now in our new office space (Suite 201) in the Towne Center Mall. It has been a crazy week here getting the office set up but we are making progress.
  • Ladies, just a reminder, for those of you involved in the monthly Ladies Discipleship group, that the date has been changed to Saturday March 16.
  • Guys, just a reminder that we will be back on schedule for our Men’s Flapjacks & Fellowship this Saturday March 9th at the new office. We will be starting at 8 AM. I hope that you will join us as we pick up our study of How to Study the Bible.
  • It sounds like we are making progress on our SDAP permit with the county. We were able to get an issue with the need for a Fire Hydrant resolved this week. Hopefully we are close. Let me encourage you to continue to pray for the Excavation of the site. We are still soliciting bids from contractors.
  • Related to the Ministry Center the Conex box was moved to the church property. It did take a bit more effort than expected but it is now onsite!
  • We are in the process of rolling over to a new church software program. It is called the Realm. Several have been unable to get logged in to the new software. It is usually a password that has expired. Please contact Pastor Joe if you are having problems or just needing help. If you would like to be part of the Realm, please contact Pastor Joe with your email.
  • Our March MMV reminds us of our true source of hope and the future that we have to look forward to. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6 ESV)  If you are struggling in this area, let me encourage you to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • We will continue our study in Salvation. This Sunday our focus will be on Justification in the message titled, “Right with God. The truth that we are judicially clean before God can be difficult to grasp. It is another profound and encourage truth about our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that we would be motivated to live up to what we have gained in Jesus. Thanks for your prayers. Please continue to pray that God would work in me first, so that He can work through me!
