  • I just want to give a shout out to all the Veterans as we celebrated Veteran’s day this past week. I am thankful for those that have served our nation. Thank You.
  • So Thanksgiving is next week. Just a reminder that our church offices will be closed for the Holiday. Let me also encourage you to take a moment to recount the blessings of this past year and God’s blessing in your lives. I would encourage you to take a moment before enjoying the eats to encourage others to do the same. We truly are a blessed people.
  • Guys, our next Flapjacks and Fellowship is this Saturday November 18. We will be enjoying some great food and learning more about understanding the Bible. I hope you will be able to join us!
  • We only do a few select fund raisers each year. The Six8 Christmas Wreath sales are one and it is for a great cause. The sales of the Christmas wreaths go to offset the cost for our Sr High students to attend the Teen Leadership Conference over Christmas break. They cost $15 each and will be available this Sunday. They also make great gifts as well.
  • Just a reminder this is the last week of our Operation Christmas Child emphasis. You will need to bring your boxes this Sunday November 18.
  • I know that some of you are struggling with memorizing Bible verses. I have chosen to have us memorize the popular passage of Psalm 23. It speaks to all of us. This month our verse is Psalm 23:2. It is an easy verse that you need to commit to memory. “He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.” Psalm 23:2 ESV  Let me encourage you to memorize all 6 verses of Psalm 23. If you are needing some accountability with working on your verse please check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • We will continue our sermon series “The Art of Contentment! “ this next week by digging deeper into what it means to be content. It is too easy for us to become discontent in a culture that has to have everything now and the way they want. Yet, followers of Jesus are called to be different. I appreciate your prayer for the sermon this week!
