  • Wow! what a great time at Youth and Family Camp this past week at Lake Cushman. A big thanks to Pastor Zac and Carol for all their work. I also want to give a shout out to Carrie L for her help. Also I want to thank Pastor Berney for bringing the challenge from the Word. Also, a big thanks to those that donated wood and helped out in other ways. We had great weather for the first part of the week.
  • Just a reminder that we have a property work day scheduled for this Saturday August 18th from 9am to Noon (or when we get done). Our goal is to cut the grass and weeds to keep the site looking good!
  • My goal is to contact those that have offered to help with packing up the Ministry Center. Our goal for the next several weeks will be to do some “house cleaning.” Initially we will be just assigning tasks as we prepare for moving.  It you are available to help please contact Pastor Joe.
  • Things have been busy with the sale of the Ministry Center and the continued development of the property. Speaking of the property we are currently working on getting the entrance widened and other details related to our next permit. Please continue to pray for both of these.
  • Just a reminder that the Property Team will be meeting this Sunday at 7PM at the Ministry Center.
  • We have a couple higher priority needs that you might be able to help with. First, we are in need of a volunteer to help with our financial ministries. If you have a desire to help in this area please reach out to Pastor Joe or Nathan F.  We are also looking for an additional volunteer to help in the office with putting the Sunday bulletins together.
  • Our MMV from Philippians 2:14 reminds us to be a light for Jesus through our interaction with others. ““Do all things without grumbling or disputing,” (Philippians 2:14 ESV)  If you are up for an extra challenge I would encourage you to join me in memorizing verse 15 too! “that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,” (Philippians 2:15 ESV) I really encourage you to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • This Sunday in our series from 2 Samuel “Letting God Use Me” we will focus on “Learning to be Equitable.” The consequences of King David’s sins continue to unfold as a traumatic drama in his family as prophesied by the Lord. This Sunday we look at 2 Samuel 14 and how human manipulation only makes things worse. Thank you for praying for me as I work through another difficult account. Pray that the Lord would use it to speak into my life and the lives of our congregation.
