  • We are off to a great start with our Soccer Camp registrations. We had a great turnout last year. I learned this week that we are ahead of our last year registrations to this point. Let me encourage you to keep praying.
  • Just a reminder that we need all hands on deck for camp. Here are some needs that you could help with. We need people to help with registration each morning. We have a need for a couple lunches and dinners for the OCU team the week of camp. If you can help with these, please talk to Pastor Berney.
  • Also don’t forget to sign up for snacks or to get involved in this year’s camp. We also will need as many coaches and assistants as we can get. Again, if you know of any please connect them with Pastor Berney.
  • This week we will be kicking off a new MMV Monthly Memory Verse for July. There is still time to polish up on our last verse which also happens to be our church verse 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” Our new verse will be Psalm 139:14. Also let me encourage those of you with smart phones or tablets to check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
  • I still have a few spots for available for Family Camp this summer at Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. I will need to turn these back in by the end of July. Please let us know so we can reserve a site for you.
  • This week we will be continuing our study on Romans. I hope it has been a blessing to you. I know it has been a blessing to me. Our focus this week will be on Romans chapter 4 and the message will be “The Confidence of Faith” as we look at what saving faith really is and how it impacts our lives each and every day. Thanks again for all your prayers for me as I study and prepare for the message each Sunday. I can tell people are praying as the Lord opens up challenging passages and speaks into my life!
