- What a great weekend! It is always special when we honor Mothers as well as have a Baby Dedication.
- Gals, our ladies retreat is this week. It begins Thursday evening and will end Saturday. I hope that you will be attending. Don’t let the Devil tempt you to make an excuse. You need to make time to hang out with other believers and to sit under His Word. The Camp Gilead Ladies Retreat is May 19-20.
- Our congregational business meeting is this Sunday 6PM at the Ministry Center. We will be voting on Officers and the Budget for next year. We will also be discussing an item related to the future of the church. I hope that you will plan to be in attendance.
- As I mentioned Sunday, our new MMV (Monthly Memory Verse) for May is Psalm 119:33. I have chosen a shorter verse to encourage those that are just joining us in this adventure. I really enjoy my Bible memory app and recommend it to you. Check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
- We are looking forward to holding Family Camp this year. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us as we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested, please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend to.
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the June verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- I hope you have been as blessed with our “Life Lessons” series on the life of Jesus. This week we will be looking at the lesson of serving as Jesus takes on a towel and washes the disciples feet. What an example for us today. Pray for Pastor Zac as he will be bring the challenge this Sunday. Also just a reminder that we have a special missionary guest with us the following Sunday.
