- Just a reminder that this weekend we will be doing something different. We will be ending the AM service a little early as we allow time for Kids Zone and Six8 Parent meetings. This is a time for the Ministry Leaders to connect with your parents. I hope that you plan to attend these important times to support those that are building into the life of your children.
- It has been wonderful to get to know Jason Doolittle and Lyndzee Hamby. Their wedding is coming up this Saturday May 6 at 1pm. You are invited.
- There is a surprise party being planned for Joyce Pavadakes next Sunday May 7 from 12 noon through 3pm at Ridgemont. Come help us celebrate her 70th birthday.
- As I mentioned Sunday, our new MMV (Monthly Memory Verse) for May is Psalm 119:33. I have chosen a shorter verse to encourage those that are just joining us in this adventure. I really enjoy my Bible memory app and recommend it to you. Check out the ScriptureTyper App. (IOS and Android)
- Gals, our ladies retreat is just around the corner and you need to go. We need to make time to hang out with other believers and to sit under His Word. The Camp Gilead Ladies Retreat is May 19-20. Check out the bulletin insert for more info.
- The Awana Award and Dessert night to celebrate this year’s accomplishments is this Sunday evening May 7, 5:30pm at the Ministry Center.
- Mother’s Day is just around the corner. If you are interested in having your children dedicated, please speak with Pastor Joe.
- The monthly Ladies discipleship group will be meeting Sunday May 6. Please note that there is a time change for this month, 9am-11am.
- We are looking forward to holding Family Camp this year. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us as we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend to.
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the June verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- I hope you have been blessed with our “Life Lessons” series on the life of Jesus. This Sunday we will be looking at Jesus’ life as we celebrate the Lord’s Table. Please pray for me as I prepare for this special message this weekend.
