- Guys, the Men’s Retreat is this weekend. There is still time for your to go. Please contact Pastor Joe if you are interested. We will be leaving from the Ministry Center at 3:30pm and should be back Saturday afternoon by 4pm. - Gals, just a reminder about the new Ladies Bible study that is meeting on Wednesday evenings. There is still time for you to get in on the study of Philippians that meets Wednesday nights 6:45pm at the Ministry Center. Please talk to Joelle if you are interested.
- Easter is a big day at Living Hope and there are a couple announcements as we prepare to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection this year on April 16th. Our Sunday events will begin with a brunch before the service followed by a special Easter service and an Egg Hunt for the kids after the service. I hope you will plan to invite your family and friends to this special service.
- We are looking for those that would provide Easter Lilies, which you can take home after the service, for Easter Sunday decorations. Please sign up using the bulletin insert or contact Caryl P.
- We are also collecting financial donations for Easter Candy for the Egg Hunt (designated for Egg Hunt) or small wrapped candy donations that can fit in the plastic eggs. Please contact Kendra D with any questions.
- Our new verse for April is Hebrews 6:10. Let me strongly encourage you to join this challenge. It is not too late to join in, even if you have not started yet. Memorizing the Word is one way to release God’s power into your life. Also, if you are looking for a good phone app, I recommend the Scripture Typer App. (IOS and Android)
- I know August seems a long way off, but Family Camp is just around the corner. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend to.
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the May verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- Our studies on the life of Jesus for the Life Lessons series have been a huge blessing to me. I hope they have been a blessing to you. What a blessing it is to dig into God’s Word and especially be able to study the actual life of Jesus. I am learning so much, I hope you are too. This week we will focus on the need to “Live by Integrity.” The Lord is using your prayers to change me and our congregation. Thanks so much for bringing our ministry before the Lord.
