- I have really been enjoying preparing for our new series “Life Lessons” from the life of Jesus. I would encourage you to join us this Sunday as we look at another account and allow the Lord to speak into our lives.
- The Youth Mall Hunt is this Sunday. I want to say thanks in advance to those adults participating in this activity. I would also encourage our students to be at the Ministry Center and bring a friend for this fun time. Contact Pastor Zac with any questions.
- This Sunday when I talk about our Monthly Memory Verse, I will be focusing on the importance of “thanksgiving” in the midst of Crisis. Our March verse is Philippians 4:6-7. - I know August seems a long way off, but Family Camp is just around the corner. Let me encourage you to plan now to join us we head back to Lake Cushman over the weekend of August 25-27. If you are interested please let us know so we can reserve a site for you. It is also a great event to bring a friend.
- There is a need for additional helpers in our Sunday KidsZone Ministry and for our Sunday evening AWANA program. If you are interested, please talk to Kendra D. (KidsZone) and Pastor Berney (AWANA).
- Thanks to those that have submitted memory verses. The pastors will be reviewing the submissions for the March verse. Please text, email your favorite verse and the reason why.
- This Sunday we will continue our “Life Lessons” series by looking at Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness. It is an account that gives us great insight into facing temptation. The message this week will be on “Live by Holiness.” Jesus’ life will once again be a challenge to pursue holiness. I am convinced that God has to work in me before he can work through me. Would you pray that the Lord would cause my life to be changed from my time in this passage? Thank You for praying.
