- Let the festivities begin. I hope that you will allow the Lord to use you to touch others through the different holiday activies. Actually, don’t wait for it to happen, make it a choice to do something each day of this month!
- Thanks to everyone that supported our students with Christmas Wreath purchases. I believe that almost all of them have been sold or at least are spoken for. I want to thank everyone for their part in supporting our students.
- Please continue to pray for the development of our church property. We are still working on obtaining a Conditional Use Permit that allows us to use the property as a church. We are nearing the end of the process and still have a few issues to work out. Your prayer is essential.
- This is a great time to plug in to our “Younger Adults” group. They will be meeting periodically over during December and will be starting a new Bible Study in January. If you are interested please contact Pastor Berney.
- The Ladies Annual Christmas party is this Friday, December 9th, at 7pm at the Ministry Center. The emphasis will be an Old Fashioned Christmas. Don’t forget to bring a wrapped Christmas Ornament for the gift exchange.
- There will be a memorial service Saturday December 10th at 11 AM for Granny (Josephine Isaac) at the Ministry Center as we celebrate her life. There will be a potluck following. Please bring a Main Dish and Salad or Main Dish and Dessert.
- We have several that are interested in being baptized. We are scheduling a baptismal service for Sunday December 18th. If you are interested, you will want to contact Pastor Joe. There will also be a flyer in the bulletin over the next couple weeks.
- Our Annual Christmas Caroling event and meal is scheduled for Sunday afternoon December 18th. I would encourage you to add this event to your calendar. It is one of our church highlights for the Christmas Season.
- Just a reminder that our Annual Candlelight service on Christmas Eve will be from 6-7pm and there will also be a Special Christmas Sunday service from 10-11 AM. Please pass the word by inviting others to join us.
- Our emphasis this week for Advent #3 will be Joy and the message titled “I Want to be Happy.” Pastor Berney will be opening the Word this weekend. I know that he would appreciate your prayers as he prepares.
