  • Christmas is on Sunday this year. I have been asked if we are having a Candlelight and Sunday service this year. The answer is yes, we are planning to have both services. The Candlelight service is from 6-7pm on Christmas Eve and the Special Christmas Sunday service will be from 10-11am. Please pass the word by inviting other to join us.
  • It is that time of the year. I hope that you are surviving Cyber Monday Week. I am so thankful that there is a deeper meaning to Christmas! I hope you are able to celebrate your Lord and enjoy your family this holiday season.
  • Please continue to pray for the development of our church property. We are still working on obtaining a Conditional Use Permit that allows us to use the property as a church. We are nearing the end of the process and still have a few issues to work out. Your prayer is essential.
  • Thanks to everyone that supported our students with Christmas Wreath purchases. We still have some remaining. It would be a huge blessing to the students if you could help pass the word and sell a couple wreaths to coworkers, friends and family. 100% of the costs for the Christmas Wreaths go to funding the Annual Teen Leadership Conference over Christmas break.
  • Our “Younger Adults” will be meeting on Friday December 2nd 6:30 and Nathan and Amy F. home. If you are an adult and interested in getting together for encouragement you will want to be there. This would include single, married and those with young children.
  • The Ladies Discipleship group meets the first Saturday of each month. The next meeting is Saturday December 3, 10am-Noon at the Ministry Center.
  • Discovery Baptist Church in Gig Harbor, our sister holds a Living Nativity each year. This year the event will be on December 3-4 from 5-8PM. This is a must see event as you enter back in to world of the Bible and are reminded of the Christmas story.
  • The Ladies Annual Christmas party is Friday December 9th at 7pm at the Ministry Center. The emphasis will be an Old Fashioned Christmas. Don’t forget to bring a wrapped Christmas Ornament for the gift exchange.
  • There will be a memorial service Saturday December 10th at 11 AM for Granny (Josephine Isaac) at the Ministry Center as we celebrate her life. There will be a potluck following. Please bring a Main Dish and Salad or Main Dish and Dessert.
  • We have several that are interested in being baptized. We are scheduling a baptismal service for Sunday December 18th. If you are interest, you will want to contact Pastor Joe. There will also be a flyer in the bulletin over the next couple weeks.
  • Our Annual Christmas Caroling event and meal is scheduled for Sunday afternoon December 18th. I would encourage you to add this event to your calendar. It is one of our church highlights for the Christmas Season.
  • We will kick off our Christmas emphasis this week with Advent. It is a special time to remind us of the real meaning behind the holiday season. We will also be launching our Christmas series this Sunday. I do covet your prayers as I prepare for these messages.
