  • I want to say a big Thank You to Pastor Berney for preaching this week and handling Communion. I also want to say thanks to the Setup Guys and Gals that got everything together. It was a blessing to me to be able to visit my daughter Anna at Cedarville and stop by Joel and Aimee’s on the way. Thanks for allowing me to get away.
  • I am excited about our AWANA ministry. I understand that we had a great kickoff with a good number of clubbers. Just a couple thoughts, if you have children age K-6th I would encourage you to get them plugged in to AWANA. Second, we are need in adult leaders to help out due to the large number of clubbers. So If you can help by listening to verses, your help would be appreciated. Please talk to Pastor Berney.
  • Ministry Team leaders are reminded that there is a meeting this next Tuesday October 11th at 7pm at the Ministry Center.
  • Just an advance reminder that our Six8 Jr and Sr High Bible Study will be moving the meeting time to 7pm starting Friday October 14th due to Pastor Zac’s work schedule. Please contact Pastor Zac with any questions.
  • I am excited for our Fall Ministry Fair which will be next Sunday October 16th following the AM Service. It is an opportunity to check out the different ministries and get plugged in.
  • We are planning a 101 Discovering Church Membership CLASS for those interested in learning more about Living Hope. The class will be Saturday October 29th  from 9am-3pm, lunch will be provided. Please contact Pastor Joe with any questions.
  • Pastor Joe and Caryl are inviting you to an open house reception for newlyweds, Joe and Jess. You are invited to join us Sunday afternoon, October 23rd from 2-4pm . Guest are asked to bring a food pantry item to help them stock their pantry.
  • This is a great time to get plugged into a small group. It is a great way to connect with others and build relationships. There are a number of different studies being planned. Be sure to respond to the insert this week.
  • I hope you have been enjoying our Endangered Relationship series. Pastor Joe will be focusing on a message titled, “The Father I Always Wanted!” It is not surprise that we have all been influenced by our earthly fathers. Often our view of our earthly father influences our perspective on our heavenly father. We will be spending time to look at what the Bible reveals about our loving heavenly Father. I do covet your prayers for me as I prepare and for the Lord’s healing power in the lives of those whom may not have had a great relationship with their earthly dad.
