Rearview Mirror 5-26-2016

  • Thanks to everyone that attended the Annual Business Meeting this past Sunday evening. It was great to have a strong turnout. It is also a blessing to have our 2016-2017 Budget along with leaders in place for the next ministry year. We will be handing out copies of the Annual Report this Sunday for those that were not able to attend.
  • The Soccer Camp mailers have been printed. I want to say “Thank You” to the army of people that helped with picking up the mailers and then helping to count and sort almost 28,000 postcards. We will be taking the mailers to the Post Office this coming Tuesday. Please spread the word about Soccer Camp.
  • This weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, is the start of summer in our culture. I know many are looking to take advantage of the three day weekend. Let’s also take time to remember that we are commemorating those that have given their lives for our country. It is a great time to take a field trip to a Veteran’s cemetery, share with family the sacrifices of those that gave their lives or say a pray of blessing for our currently serving military.
  • There is a bridal shower coming up for Jess Sadowitz on Wednesday, June 8, at 7pm at the Ministry Center. Jess and our son Joe will be tying the knot on July 2nd back in Pennsylvania.
  • This will be the last message in our “What it Takes to be a Leader” series. It has been a blessing to hear how the Lord has been using the messages in many of your lives. It is exciting to think about how the Lord is going to use us as we take leadership in all areas of our lives. The title for this week is, “Leading in Our Community.” It has been another busy week for me and I covet your prayers as I prepare and then as I preach the message this Sunday. Thank You for praying.
