Rearview Mirror 12-24-2015

  • Merry Christmas. I hope you are able to take time to worship Jesus this week. I also hope that you are able to have a wonderful time with family and friends. Just remember that all the other stuff is second to the people in your life. Merry Christmas
  • Don’t miss an opportunity to share the Christmas story at some point during your Holiday gatherings. We always make it a point to read the Christmas story from Luke 2. It is great to include others around the table in the reading.
  • The Christmas Eve Candlelight service is this Thursday evening at 6pm. It is a one hour service and is a great way to introduce/remind your family about what you are celebrating this time of year. I hope that you can join us for this wonderful Christmas tradition at Living Hope. It is held at the Marcus Whitman Jr High School @ 6pm sharp Christmas Eve.
  • This coming Sunday will be Christmas Sunday. I love it when Christmas allows us to celebrate it after the actual holiday. I hope you are there for a great time of worship.
  • Pray for our Six-8 students and leaders heading to the Teen Leadership Conference January 29th-31st. We will be driving down the 29th and returning on the 31st. Pray not only for safety but that the Lord would work in hearts!
  • Just a reminder that our church offices are closed from Christmas through New Year’s. If you need something place contact Pastor Joe or Andi C directly.
  • Pray for our next mailer. “Transformed” to be sent out in early January. It is a study of the practical application of Romans 12. There still is a lot of work to be done on pulling this together and your prayers are appreciated.
  • This Sunday we will be continuing our Christmas series, “Christmas Inside/Out” as we look at how the real meaning of Christmas will change how we can have hope in a world of despair. I appreciate your prayers as I prepare for the service this weekend.
