The reason that religious works do not work is that they cannot clear a person’s conscience. We are reminded in this message that works only leave us questioning our relationship with God. It is only through Grace that the follower of Christ can have a clean conscience, because the penalty for sin was paid. We are reminded that Grace is a privilege not a right.
