Those that desire to follow Jesus must navigate the dangers of pseudo Christianity in the form of cults, false doctrine and even our own self righteousness. As Paul reminds the Philippian believers of the dangers, he is really calling them to "Pursue Genuine Godliness." If we are going to rise about the noise we have to first get our heart right with God.
