- I want to say Thank You to everyone that has enjoyed our just completed series, “The God Questions.” It is always a blessing to be teaching in areas that are helping our body to grow in our understanding of God.
- I want to thank the families that are leading our congregational advent celebration each week. It is vital that we take the time to remember what we are celebrating during this time of the year.
- All of the Christmas wreaths have been sold. I want to say “Thank You” to those that have purchased wreaths and those that donated to cover the cost. Now we need to pray for our students and leaders heading to TLC that the Lord would give safety and work in our hearts! We have 10 students and leaders attending this year’s event so far.
- Ladies don’t forget that this, Friday December 11th is the Annual Ladies Christmas Party. There will be the exciting Ornament exchange as well as good treats and great fellowship. I hope you are able to be a part of what the Lord is doing in the lives of our ladies.
- Just a reminder that our Six-8 Youth Christmas Party will be this Friday 6:30pm at the Lopez’s home. Don’t forget to bring $5 for pizza and a “white elephant” gift for the exchange.
- Each year we spend the last Sunday before Christmas Caroling. We will be caroling at the Veterans Facility in Retsil again this year on Sunday December 20th. We will be meeting at the Ministry Center at 3pm and carpooling there. There will be a meal with a small donation after caroling. I hope you will make plans to join us for this event.
- This Sunday we will be launching our Christmas series, “Christmas Inside/Out” as we look at how the real meaning of Christmas will change our outlook from fear, uncertainty despair and trade them for Peace, Faith/Trust and Hope. The message this week will be “Bringing Peace to a World of Fear.” I do covet your prayers as this was another crazy week. Our main computer server failed, probably due to the number of power outages. So much of my time has been getting it back online. You prayers are much appreciated.
